The handle assembly is mounted on the trailer. It controls the operation of the coupler. Simply moving the handle into the "up" position locks the coupler and holds the locking pin securely in place.

Coupler is in locked position.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To unhitch the trailer, pull the handle down to the open position. This pulls up the locking pin; the cam-action then opens the coupler, releasing the hitch.
